Maritime security

The security level on Danish ships and in Danish ports are at level 1. There are no special precautions that shipping should address concerning maritime security in Danish waters.

The Danish national point of contact is Admiral Danish Fleet which can be contacted via Danish coastal radio (Lyngby Radio) on main working channels.

The information a ship is required to submit in accordance with Article 6 of Regulation (EC) No 725/2004 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 31 March 2004 on enhancing ship and port facility security and SOLAS chapter XI-2, regulation 9.2.1, shall in Denmark be sent to the port authority at the port of destination.
